It was a good run, but Christian County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. The matchup between the Christian County Colonels and the Crittenden County Rockets didn't end well, with the Christian County Colonels falling 63-49. The Colonels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 56-49.

Christian County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was NeVaeh Day, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. Day is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lazarie Daniel, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Christian County's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Crittenden County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-7.

Christian County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crittenden County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-31 defeat against Henderson County on the 8th.
