Trinity Prep entered their tilt with Trinity Christian Academy on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Eagles. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Not much got past Mckenna Hawley, who gave up just four hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Trinity Christian Academy off the board. Hawley has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mercer Wilson, who went 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Emma Hartung was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

The victory got Trinity Prep back to even at 6-6. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Trinity Prep will face off against Lyman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Saints will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-1 win against First Academy on the 17th.
