The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies will venture away from home to square off against the Marietta Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Jackson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Fairfield on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Ironman/Ironladies couldn't quite close it out.
Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Marietta made sure to put some goals up on the board against Alexander on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Spartans. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight matches by four goals or more so far this season.
Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Marietta, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.
