Basketball Game Preview: Riddle Irish vs. Yoncalla Eagles

Riddle is on a nine-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Yoncalla a 12-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Riddle Irish will be taking part in a tournament against the Yoncalla Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Riddle was beaten by Rogue Valley Adventist 63-6.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Yoncalla). They managed a 41-35 win over Crow on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Riddle now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Yoncalla, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Riddle didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Yoncalla in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 31-25 victory. Will Riddle repeat their success, or does Yoncalla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
