Volleyball Recap: Oswego Takes a Loss

Oswego lost against Baxter Springs on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-11.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up six kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her eight assists.

Baxter Springs can attribute much of their success to Izzy Simpson, who had six aces. That's the most aces Simpson has posted since September 2nd.

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Baxter Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Coincidentally, Oswego and Baxter Springs will both be playing Lyndon the next time they take the court. The Lions will head out to face the Tigers at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
