Basketball Recap: Challenger Firebirds vs. Christian Family Academy Fire        
        
		
             Challenger lost a close one when they played  last Thursday but unfortunately for them the  defeat they were handed  on Tuesday was a bit more commanding. They took a  blow against the Christian Family Academy Fire, falling  73-24. The Firebirds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  35-7.
 Despite the loss, Challenger still got an impressive performance from   Riley Annis, who  posted 13 points in addition to five  steals. That was a full 54.2% of Challenger's points, marking the third time in a row he's   had  more than a third of the team's points.
 It was another big night for  Charles Murray, who  dropped  a double-double on 18 points and ten  assists for Christian Family Academy. The  game was  Murray's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Logan Ramsey, who  went 6 for 15 en route to 18 points plus four  steals.
 This is the second loss in a row for Challenger and  nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Christian Family Academy, the  victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
 Challenger will face off against Community Christian Academy at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Christian Family Academy, they will head out to  face off against Lab University Prep  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Christian Family Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season.
