Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Silver Lake

Silver Lake entered their tilt with Harvard on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 2nd.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Silver Lake was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14.

Makenna M Karr paced Silver Lake's offense, picking up six kills. M Karr got some help from Kerra Hofstetter and her ten assists. Libby Soucek controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Silver Lake's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Harvard, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Silver Lake will challenge Dorchester at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harvard, they will face off against Nebraska Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
