It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dominican can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cambridge Bluejays on Thursday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Dominican actually scored more points across those four sets (91-90), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

Dominican's loss came despite strong showings from Gabby Johnson and Marlee Hills. Johnson had 29 digs and one assist, while Hills had 12 digs, nine kills, and six aces.

Cambridge was led to victory by Vivian Fisher and Ava Williams. Fisher had ten digs, while Williams had 13 digs and six assists. That's the most digs Fisher has posted since back in September.

Dominican's loss dropped their record down to 26-9. As for Cambridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

Dominican does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cambridge, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Luther Prep on the 25th.
