Baseball Recap: East Helena Comes Up Short

East Helena lost against Lone Peak back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vigilantes lost 17-7 to the Big Horns. The Vigilantes' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Xavier Nunn and Kai Richey did some serious damage despite the final result: Nunn earned two runs and two stolen bases, while Richey went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that Nunn has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Boston Adams, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

East Helena now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Lone Peak, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.
