Baseball Recap: Daviess County Comes Up Short

Daviess County fell victim to Graves County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Daviess County now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Graves County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Daviess County will challenge Ohio County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Graves County, they will face off against Russell County at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Lakers have now posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
