Volleyball Recap: Colton Comes Up Short

Colton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the St. John-Endicott Eagles. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2017.

Colton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-14.

Colton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. John-Endicott, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colton will venture away from home to square off against Garfield-Palouse at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John-Endicott, they will square off against Upper Columbia Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
