Maroa-Forsyth had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the St. Thomas More Sabers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted against the Sabers since September 9, 2017.

Maroa-Forsyth can attribute much of their success to Sydney Pottala, who had six digs and two aces.

Pottala wasn't the only good server: Maroa-Forsyth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive games.

Maroa-Forsyth's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for St. Thomas More, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Maroa-Forsyth wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Tolono Unity on the 16th. As for St. Thomas More, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Watseka on the 16th.
