Volleyball Recap: Churchill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eagle Point last Thursday, Churchill came back down to earth. The Lancers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crater Comets on Tuesday. The Lancers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Comets earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Churchill's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Crater, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Churchill will take on Wilsonville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crater, they will square off against Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
