Basketball Recap: El Dorado Springs Comes Up Short

El Dorado Springs was the 68-41 winner over Warsaw when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The El Dorado Springs Bulldogs fell to the Warsaw Wildcats 61-57.

Warsaw's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Gemes, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 13 points and five rebounds. Garrett Ferguson was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

El Dorado Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Warsaw, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, El Dorado Springs won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Adrian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Warsaw, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warsaw is facing Butler at the right time seeing as Butler is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
