Softball Game Preview: Citrus Hurricanes vs. Westminster Academy Lions

The Citrus Hurricanes will head out on the road to take on the Westminster Academy Lions at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither Citrus nor Westminster Academy posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Citrus is headed into Saturday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Land O' Lakes, falling 19-2.

Citrus saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylie Goodwin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Goodwin launched this season.

Meanwhile, Westminster Academy lost 9-1 to Sarasota on Friday.

Citrus now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Westminster Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
