Baseball Recap: Lawrence County Bulldogs vs. Floyd Central Jaguars
Lawrence County blew Floyd Central out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Floyd Central got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 7-5. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Logan Whisenant put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
