Bland won the last time they faced Wolfe City and things went their way on Friday too. The Bland Tigers walked away with a 63-51 win over the Wolfe City Wolves. The Tigers pushed the score to 51-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolves cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the defeat, Wolfe City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Noah Adams dropped a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Adams is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 22 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rustic McElwrath, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 15 points.

Bland's victory bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Wolfe City, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 19 of their last 20 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-24 record this season.

Bland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-51 loss against Whitewright on the 11th. As for Wolfe City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-42 win against Trenton on the 11th.
