Eaton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bayfield Wolverines on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Reds, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Madi Smith paced Eaton's offense, picking up 21 kills. Smith got some help from Trinity Salberg and her 19 assists. Chloe Crider controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Bayfield lost, don't look at Maeli Quintana. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two assists.

Eaton's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Bayfield, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 19-8.

Eaton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against The Classical Academy on the 14th. As for Bayfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Stargate School on the 14th.
