Soccer Recap: Mineral Ridge Takes a Loss

The Mineral Ridge Rams didn't have quite enough to beat the Newton Falls Tigers on Wednesday and fell 4-3.

Mineral Ridge hit Newton Falls with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Andrew Gillie, Steven Gutierrez, and Spencer Pal.

Mineral Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-2. As for Newton Falls, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4-1.

Mineral Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Aquinas on the 4th. As for Newton Falls, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Champion on the 2nd.
