Basketball Game Preview: Red Creek Rams vs. East Rochester Bombers

Red Creek is 1-9 against East Rochester since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Red Creek Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the East Rochester Bombers at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

East Rochester will be up against a hot Red Creek squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Red Creek breezed by South Seneca to the tune of 49-21 on Monday.

Meanwhile, East Rochester humbled Sodus with a 58-21 victory. The Bombers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Red Creek has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for East Rochester, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Red Creek came up short against East Rochester when the teams last played on January 13th, falling 52-41. Can Red Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
