Western Brown is 8-2 against Batavia since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Western Brown Broncos will look to defend their home court against the Batavia Bulldogs at 8:15 p.m.

Last Friday, Western Brown came up short against Eastern and fell 62-54. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 603rd, while the Warriors are ranked 250th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Batavia). They strolled past New Richmond with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 65-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Batavia pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Western Brown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Western Brown skirted past Batavia 74-71 when the teams last played back in February. Will Western Brown repeat their success, or does Batavia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
