Baseball Recap: Christian Fellowship Find Success

Christian Fellowship barely beat Crosspoint Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Christian Fellowship's pitcher stepped up to hand Crosspoint Christian a 12-0 shutout on Saturday. Christian Fellowship hasn't had any issues with Crosspoint Christian recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Jack Papineau made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Christian Fellowship is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-6 otherwise. Papineau was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Wyatt Jennings was incredible, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Carson File, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Christian Fellowship always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Christian Fellowship's record is now 9-6. As for Crosspoint Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.
