Baseball Recap: Spoto Takes a Loss

Spoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Seffner Christian Crusaders.

Spoto saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Sims, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Spoto now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Seffner Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spoto will be taking part in a tournament against Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Spoto is facing Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at the right time seeing as Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Seffner Christian, they will take on Brandon in a tournament on Monday. The last four games Brandon has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
