Basketball Recap: Macomb Comes Up Short

Macomb managed to slip by Paden the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets took a blow against the Pirates on Monday, falling 66-30. The Hornets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Macomb's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Paden, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macomb will welcome Maud at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paden, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Lima at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
