Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Nixa Eagles. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Nixa are ranked seventh).

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Nixa, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Coming up, Central will take on Waynesville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Nixa has already played their next match (against Lebanon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
