Basketball Game Preview: American Heritage Patriots vs. North Gem Cowboys

The American Heritage Patriots will take on the North Gem Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. American Heritage has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the seventh.

American Heritage is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Mackay on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. American Heritage came up short against Mackay, falling 46-25.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, North Gem was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were beaten by Watersprings 63-26. The Cowboys haven't had much luck with Watersprings recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

North Gem's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for American Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

American Heritage took a serious blow against North Gem in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 53-19. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point American Heritage was down 27-7.
