Schoolcraft came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured an 18-14 W against the Lawton Blue Devils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Schoolcraft's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Howard, who rushed for 113 yards.

Schoolcraft's run defense was locked in: Lawton could only muster 2.8 yards per carry. The Eagles didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.3.

Schoolcraft's record is now 5-1. As for Lawton, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Schoolcraft will square off against Saugatuck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Trailblazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
