Basketball Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Leroy-Ostrander's Winning Streak

LeRoy-Ostrander was the 74-68 winner over Kingsland when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals fell 65-56 to the Kingsland Knights on Thursday. The Cardinals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why LeRoy-Ostrander lost, don't look at Camden Hungerholt. Despite the final result, he posted 24 points and three steals. The game was Hungerholt's 12th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Stevens, who put up ten points and three steals.

LeRoy-Ostrander now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Kingsland, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.
