Baseball Game Preview: Lisle Lions vs. Kaneland Knights

The Lisle Lions will face off against the Kaneland Knights at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Lisle has now lost 16 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 26.

On Thursday, Lisle came up short against Sandwich and fell 10-7.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kaneland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Sycamore on Thursday. Considering the Knights have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kaneland pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lisle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18-1.
