Baseball Recap: Forrest Victorious

Forrest lost to Eagleville back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Rockets came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Jordan Northam looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tyler Tackett, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Forrest's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Eagleville, their loss dropped their record down to 21-7.

Forrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eagleville, they will take on Huntland at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
