Basketball Recap: United Christian Academy Takes a Loss

United Christian Academy played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 54-28 to the Kimberton Waldorf Bulls. United Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kimberton Waldorf to victory, but perhaps none more so than Franklin Matichak, who went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points and three steals. Matichak is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Jojo Da Graca was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

United Christian Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

United Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kimberton Waldorf, they will head out to face off against Delaware Valley Friends at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
