Coeur d'Alene faced Lake City in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Vikings beat the Timberwolves by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-7. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 8-7 victory last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Bam Fenter, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Harrison Trunkey-Evans, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Coeur d'Alene has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. As for Lake City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
