Football Recap: Arp Piles Up the Points Against Mineola

Arp strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past the Mineola Yellowjackets to the tune of 35-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Casen Burgins was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 72 yards and three TDs on only seven carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Zane Bourque also helped out with an impressive 84 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Arp was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
