Football Preview: Bullard Knights vs. Hoover Patriots
The Bullard Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Hoover Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hoover took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bullard, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Bullard on the road against Buhach Colony as the team secured a 70-3 win. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Thunder are ranked 845th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tyler Franklin was a one-man wrecking crew for Bullard as he threw for 344 yards and six touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. Tyrin Pree was Franklin's top target, picking up 220 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

The victory made it two in a row for Bullard and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Bullard against Hoover when the teams last played back in August of 2015 as the squad secured a 55-6 win. In that game, Bullard amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
