After a string of three wins, Victory Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 49-39 to the Rockwell Christian School Chargers. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Victory Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marissa Sloan, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Vernelson, who put up ten points.

Victory Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Rockwell Christian School, their record now sits at 4-6.

Victory Christian will face off against Tabernacle Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. Rockwell Christian School has already played their next match, a 35-19 victory against Shining Light Baptist Academy on the 27th.
