It was another big night for Michael Eckart, who rushed for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 170 yards and two TDs. His longest rush was for an incredible 72 yards. Carter Clee was another key player, gaining 102 total yards and a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Neshaminy's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Corey Keenoy-Webb, Dan McGarrity, and Owen Swartz, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pennridge). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Abington 43-8. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Neshaminy better keep an eye on Noah Keating. He was instrumental in Pennridge's win, throwing for 213 yards and three touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes. Those 213 passing yards gave Keating a new career-high.

Pennridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brody Blomgren, Chase Clontz, Michael Ferguson, and Leland Knight picked up one apiece. Blomgren also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine. Ferguson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Pennridge's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Neshaminy, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Neshaminy has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 193.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Pennridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 202.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
