Brighton picked up another tournament win on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Eagle Point Eagles as they made off with a 9-1 victory. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Jake Wolfe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aaden Tate, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Lucas Fiedler also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

The victory got Brighton back to even at 3-3. As for Eagle Point, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Brighton will take on Central in a tournament on Thursday. As for Eagle Point, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season.
