Basketball Recap: St. Paul Academy-Summit Comes Up Short

St. Paul Academy-Summit lost against Blake back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans were outmatched by the Blake Bears and fell 85-40. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Bears are ranked 24th).

St. Paul Academy-Summit now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Blake, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Academy-Summit will welcome Minnehaha Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minnehaha Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 210 points over their last three contests. As for Blake, they will challenge Providence Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
