For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Sweet Home and Cascade meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Huskies blew past the Cougars 10-2. This was a revenge game for the Huskies: when they faced off against the Cougars on Wednesday, they had to take a 9-8 defeat.

Sweet Home's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Cascade, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sweet Home will welcome Newport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cubs will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cascade, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Philomath at 5:00 p.m.
