Basketball Recap: East Fairmont Skates Past Bridgeport with Ease

East Fairmont entered their tilt with Bridgeport on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took their match with ease, bagging a 68-27 win over the Bridgeport Indians. The Bees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Fairmont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kasey Rogers, who went 7 for 11 en route to 19 points. Rogers is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emma Moore was another key player, putting up 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

East Fairmont was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bridgeport only racked up four assists.

Despite the loss, Bridgeport still got an impressive performance from Kloey Martinez, who posted four points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

East Fairmont has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Bridgeport, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

East Fairmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-41 victory against Fairmont Senior on the 3rd. Bridgeport has also already played their next contest, a 59-44 defeat against Oak Hill on the 1st.
