 Edsel Ford was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They lost  18-0 to the Woodhaven Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Edsel Ford of the  14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April.
 For Woodhaven's part,  Grace Usher made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Usher has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Usher was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Mia Taylor was a standout: she went 3-for-3 with two  triples, three  runs,  and two  RBI.  Brooke Taylor was another key contributor,  going 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 Edsel Ford's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Woodhaven, the  victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.
 Edsel Ford will head out on the road to  take on  Allen Park at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Woodhaven, they will be playing at home against Anderson at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
