Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perry Meridian). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ben Davis Giants a 15-0 shutout on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Falcons with their most commanding win of the season.

Perry Meridian's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Ben Davis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Perry Meridian will be playing at home against Greenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Woodmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.9 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
