It's playoff time, and Gunnison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past The Academy Wildcats 3-0 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Cowboys sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-20.

Gunnison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubriel Loken, who had ten digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Addison Claus, who had three digs and three aces.

Gunnison's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for The Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.

Coincidentally, Gunnison and The Academy will both be playing Windsor Charter Academy the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Firebirds at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cowboys will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
