Basketball Recap: Westchester Country Day Comes Up Short

Westchester Country Day lost against Greensboro Day School back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Westchester Country Day Wildcats were beaten by the Greensboro Day School Bengals 64-19. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Westchester Country Day has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Greensboro Day School, they pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westchester Country Day will venture away from home to face off against Caldwell Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Caldwell Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Westchester Country Day likes a good challenge. As for Greensboro Day School, they will head out to square off against High Point Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
