Turkey Valley will head into Tuesday's match having proved themselves against South Winneshiek: Turkey Valley took a 24-point defeat the last time they faced off against South Winneshiek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Turkey Valley narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past South Winneshiek 39-36. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, West Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-13 loss at the hands of MFL MarMac.

Turkey Valley pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points per game. As for West Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
