Cherry Creek had won four straight games and Riley Harfman did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Bruins walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mullen Mustangs with plenty of help from Harfman, who had four digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While Cherry Creek might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Mullen scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Cherry Creek was led to victory by Aubrey Blake and Raya Thompson. Blake had 13 digs and six assists, while Thompson had 15 kills and 11 digs. That's the most assists Blake has posted since back in November of 2024. Kambria Landen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Cherry Creek's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Mullen, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 12-2 record.

Cherry Creek has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Chaparral on the 4th. As for Mullen, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Eaglecrest on the 7th.
