Football Recap: Mount Ayr Takes a Loss

Mount Ayr lost against Pleasantville back in September of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders fell 33-22 to the Trojans. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount Ayr now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pleasantville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Mount Ayr will welcome Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Ayr will need to watch out since Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Pleasantville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Interstate 35 at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
