Soccer Game Preview: Lafayette Christian Academy vs. Washington-Marion

The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights and the Washington-Marion Charging Indians will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Lafayette Christian Academy's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Washington-Marion has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Lafayette Christian Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Monday, they were much more limited against South Beauregard on Saturday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Lafayette Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Washington-Marion's offense. They lost 6-0 to Kaplan on Friday.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lafayette Christian Academy fell to 6-1-1. As for Washington-Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1.

Everything went Lafayette Christian Academy's way against Washington-Marion in their previous meeting back in November, as Lafayette Christian Academy made off with an 8-0 victory.
