While Mynderse Academy's victory against Palmyra-Macedon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Red Raiders 15-14 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted since May 3, 2024.

Hannah O'Brien was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Emma Frauen also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Mynderse Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .436. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Mynderse Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Palmyra-Macedon, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.
