Basketball Recap: Ellicott Comes Up Short

Ellicott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-37 loss at the hands of the Bennett Tigers. The Thunderhawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.

Ellicott's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bennett, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Ellicott will venture away from home to take on South Park at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bennett, they will be home for the holidays to greet Strasburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Strasburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bennett surely won't give up without a fight.
